Privacy Policy

Erdos PBC("Erdos," "we," "us") operates a policy-intelligence platform for congressional offices, campaigns, advocacy organizations, and adjacent policy teams. This policy explains what information we handle and how we treat it.

Access to Erdos is granted to authorized organizations. Erdos is a business tool, not a consumer service — most information we hold about you comes from your organization or from your use of the product.

1. Information we handle

Account information. Your name, email address, organization, and role, provided when your organization grants you access. We authenticate sign-in through a third-party identity provider.

Workspace content. Notes, lists, files, prompts, requests, and other content you or your organization add to a workspace, along with the work products Erdos generates from it.

Usage information. Log data, device and browser details, and records of actions taken in the product, which we use to operate, secure, and improve the service.

Public-records data. Erdos processes information drawn from public and third-party sources, such as government filings and records. This is not collected from you and is handled as described in our Terms of Service.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service; to authenticate users and administer accounts; to respond to requests and communicate with you; and to comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Service providers and AI processing

To run the service we rely on trusted third-party providers that process information on our behalf under contract — including cloud hosting, AI model, and product-analytics providers. Workspace content may be sent to these providers solely to deliver the features you use.

We do not authorize these providers to use your workspace content to train their own models or for their own purposes, and we limit them by contract to what is needed to operate Erdos.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information.

Workspace content stays sealed to the organization that owns the workspace. We do not share it with other customers, and we do not use one customer's data to benefit another.

We may disclose information to the service providers described above; to comply with applicable law, legal process, or a lawful government request; to protect the rights, safety, and security of Erdos, our users, or the public; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or other business transfer, subject to this policy.

5. Google User Data

When you sign in with Google or connect a Google service, Erdos accesses only the Google user data needed for the feature you use. Signing in provides your Google account email address and basic profile (such as your name). If you connect Gmail, Google Calendar, or Google Drive, Erdos accesses that service's data — for example, email messages and threads, calendar events, and Drive file contents and metadata — as needed to carry out the tasks you request.

How we use it. Google user data is used only to provide the features you request inside your own sealed workspace, such as research, drafting, and triage. To carry out those tasks it may be processed by our AI model providers under contract, solely to serve your requests.

How we store and protect it. Google user data is encrypted in transit and at rest, retained only within your workspace, and deleted when you disconnect the Google connection or your account is removed.

What we do not do. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized AI models. We do not transfer it to third parties except subprocessors necessary to provide the service or as required by law.

Erdos's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business and legal purposes. Workspace content is retained for the life of your organization's account and is deleted or de-identified after termination or on request, except where we are required to retain it.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls and sealed workspace boundaries. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

You can access, correct, or delete account and workspace information through your organization's administrator or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information; contact us to exercise them and we will respond as required by applicable law.

9. Data location

Erdos is operated in the United States, and information we handle is processed there. Where information is transferred across borders, we take steps required by applicable law.

10. Children

Erdos is intended for authorized professional users and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of Erdos after an update means you accept the revised policy.
